In November:
 

Classes will continue reviewing Christmas Concert music.
 
Nursery through 3^rd Grade: will continue to explore the different ways we use our voices in singing seasonal songs (N-K), interpret lyrics and examine musical elements using songs from musicals (1-3) and prepare Liturgical songs for upcoming school Masses (K-8)
 
 
4^th Grade: will continue their Recorder Karate I unit. Students will review how to play G,A,B.C and  high D. Students are currrently reviewing "Ode to Joy" for the Christmas Concert and beginning  "America". 
 
 
5^th Grade: Will start their Rock and Roll unit. 

6^th Grade: Students will begin their Disney unit. 
 
7^th Grade will continue their piano unit! Students will learn about Middle C and proper finger technique. Students practice playing C through G (left and right hand) and play exercises using those five notes. 
 
 8^th Grade will continue the C, G and F chords learned in 7^th Grade with more advanced songs. Students will review the FACE/EGBDF reading notation system and fill in the notes to advanced songs accordingly.
