Week of November 3rd-November 7th
All students will need their headphones in school everyday. Folders will go home on Fridays to be reviewed, signed and returned to school on Mondays. Grades are posted on PowerSchool weekly. Please be sure to periodically check your child's grades.

RELIGIONStudents will learn how God is almighty, all-good, all-knowing and all-present in our lives. Students will learn how God has made us in God's image and likeness.

ELAStudents will learn how to make inferences and how to find text evidence to support claims. Students are practicing reading for fluency and comprehension.
-
MATHStudents will learn how to multiply and divide with patterns of tens, hundreds and thousands. Students will practice rounding then multiplying and/or dividing to determine if answers are reasonable or unreasonable.

SS/SCIENCE
SS- Students will learn how three nations come together to live as early settlers of New York State.
Science- Students will learn about different forms of energy and how people use them.

Dismissal- If your child will have a change in their regular dismissal, please send in a note. Bus drivers also need to be notified in advance when your child will not be taking the bus either to or from school. Thank you.
Lunch Orders- Please submit your orders by Thursday for the following week's lunch order. Orders are due by Thursday night midnight for the next week.

SSPJ Academic School Year 2025-2026
I am very excited for this upcoming school year! I started teaching at SSPJ School in 2014. In our classroom learning and exploration takes place independently, interactively and cooperatively. Lessons are fun and engaging. Students read varied texts including fiction and non-fiction books. Students participate in STREAM activities and they use technology daily. Each day we are blessed to incorporate our Catholic values into all subject areas. I have high expectations for all students and I am devoted to helping each child succeed. I cannot wait to help support and encourage my students' growth and success!
