SS. Philip & James Nursery School is a safe, fun, and loving program taught by certified teachers. Children will learn Math and Reading readiness through circle time and centers, and most importantly there is plenty of time for play. Our goal is for children to engage in age-appropriate activities designed to help them learn and grow socially, academically and spiritually.
Specials: Spanish, Gym, Art, Music, Library, and outdoor play on the brand new Memorial Playground are all offered. Students will also attend all school masses and prayer services with their 6th Grade Prayer Buddies.
* Children must turn 3 on or before December 1st and be fully potty trained.

Pre-K
Our Pre-K Program is a place where we “learn to listen & listen to learn”. Our curriculum offers religious education and faith experiences combined with Math and Reading readiness. Students are introduced to letter formation, coloring, and drawing, as well as encouraged to participate in group activities, projects and discussion. Communication and social skill development are also an important part of each and every day.
Specials: Art, Computer, Spanish, Music, Library, and Physical Education are offered. Students also attend all school masses and prayer services with their 7th Grade Prayer Buddies.
After School Clubs: Choral, Science Fun, Cheer/Dance, Story Hour

Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten Program focuses on educating the “whole child” by preparing children to be creative, self-confident learners as well as good citizens. Our Math curriculum balances deep conceptual understanding with skill building, and our Reading program teaches necessary concepts to help children master the foundation skills of proficient, lifelong readers.We also introduce all academic areas with a hands-on approach that is interwoven with religious values and character development. Students are taught to explore, question, and most importantly to discover that learning can be fun.
